The list goes on and on with everyone that helps with this! Everyone has a given gift and talent that can be used to make this work.  It takes all of us working together to make Haven Foster work.  This community is full of caring and loving people!  Thank you everyone for all that you do!  We are truely blessed to live in Montrose, Colorado with so many caring/loving people!

Open Positions that need filled now are as follows:  Please contact us if you are available to manage this.  

Communications (In charge of newsletter, facebook, updating website, and social media)

Shift Coverage (Cover store Saturday's from 9am-12pm.  Each Saturday we offer to the public crafts to do for a suggested free will donation.  Durning the summer we need help with the popcorn/soda stand and sand art. Need someone to help cover Saturday's from 9am-12pm. Youth are welcome to cover these shifts!  They have fun with it and gets them involved!

Haven Foster provides opportunities for community members of all ages and of various talents to get involved.   Here are a few more ways to get involved:

• Make a blanket for a Bag  (quilt, crochet, no-sew fleece)
• Pray for the children, birth families, foster families, court system, and the foster care community.
• Create bracelets to be given to the children and put into bags
• Make thinking of you cards to be given to the children
• Meet an urgent supply need, as they arise.  These will be posted on Facebook.
• Bake treats or provide snacks for Saturday fund raisers during the farmer's market (summer time)
• Host a donation drive in your neighborhood or organization: money, books, Bag supplies, toiletries, gift cards, etc.
• Provide an item for a child's birthday or gift around Christmas time.
